Sorry, I think I couldn't understand very well your suggestion. During the boot 
I can choose either start ubuntu 2.6.24-22 or 2.6.24-21.

With the previous version (2.6.24-21), everything works fine. However with the 
new kernel I get the message
# insmod microdia.ko
insmod: error inserting './microdia.ko': -1 Invalid module format
