Hi Brian, that Image looks great except the colours. Getting there.By the way, I can no longer get any image using the repositories from: repo.or.cz/r/microdia.git I have a 6260 (integrated into my laptop, an Aspire 5050 This is the commands I'm using to get the files and compile them and install them. This worked in September and I was getting an image with Skype, now I get nothing, not even a light, although it says that I have a web cam, I just can't use it. cd /home/joe/Bureau/ rm -rf microdia ## clear out the old stuff git clone http://repo.or.cz/r/microdia.git cd microdia make sudo insmod microdia.ko This worked in September 2008 to get me an image, or perhaps it was August I can't recall. But then I tried this very same thing in October and it since then I get nothing, no light, no video, nothing. It's now January 2009! I am not sure how to apply these patches, I wonder if there is an easier way than adding the ++ lines and subtracting the -- lines one by one with a text editor (that seems a bit tedious) I am not sure even what patches to apply, or which patches have the 6260 support (experimental support of course?) It WAS working somewhat before, now there's nothing. I wonder what happened to the main branch? someone must have removed 6260 support from the main repository, unless I'm using the wrong repository. Thanks in advance. Joe On 7 nov 2008, 22:39, "Brian Johnson" <[email protected]> wrote:Well i've managed to get yuyv from the ov9650 sensor now with the correct frame size. I've attached an image that was captured using that format the only problem i have curretnly is tha my sweater should be blue not brown so there are still issues with the correct colors, but other then the color scew it seems to work correctly. I haven't actually written a patch for this since i was just tweaking registers using debugfs and testing some hardcoded values. Hope this works. BTW This is the second time I proposed a major change(support removal for older kernels) and no one answers. GWaterSorry, didn't noticed your proposition. I don't think that it's good idea (at least now), because debian and ubuntu 8.04 LTS uses older kernel. About yuv422 patches: I think we're missing something in bridge initialization, because size of result yuv422 frame is 2x smaller than it should be, but it's difenitely is not bayer... 6260 have yuv422 working, why not to look how it's done for it? :) Regards Vasilyyuyv.png 640KAfficherTélécharger--~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Lets make microdia webcams plug'n play, (currently plug'n pray) To post to this group, send email to [email protected] Visit us online https://groups.google.com/group/microdia -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
