I have a Hue HD webcam. I have been trying to get it to work under Ubuntu
8.10 with very limited results. Actually its pretty much unusable.

You can see what it looks like on MPlayer here
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/1528/mplayerno7.jpg

And on Ekiga here
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8784/ekigazf4.jpg

I installed it using the instructions here

http://groups.google.com/group/microdia/web/testing-microdia-driver-draft

Running the command
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l2convert.so mplayer tv://     -tv
driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=30:device=/dev/video1 -vo x11

I get this output
 -tv driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=30:device=/dev/video1 -vo x11

Any help will be appreciated
