Hello.
I've got Genius Look 320S webcam. lsusb gives me ID 0458:0729. I've
looked inside its MacOS X driver and found that this webcam is based
upon sn9c201 sonix chipset. Can the microdia driver be modified to
support it?

Hi solo,

I'm sure it is possible to support your cam. So:

We already now that the cam contains the sn9c201 bridge chip. However, to make it work we need to which image sensor is inside, too.

The sensor is often stored in an *.inf file of the windows driver. Here is some help to find it:

PLEASE: don't mail me the "lsusb -v" output. It's dull and useless. However I'd like you to check whether the ID really is 0458:0729 and not 0458:7029. Thanks.
