2nd this, 624e from Trust USB2.0. ubuntu 8.04 with latest v4l. kernel 2.6.24 verified to work in camorama and ekiga. same gain issue. btw camorama spits out plenty "Error decompressing JPEG" when I turn on smoothing (assume it has trouble keeping up(?)). otherwise runs well
