I joined this project 365 days ago:
http://groups.google.com/group/microdia/msg/6e999582cb3b5839

In the last year I personally:
- learned a fair bit of C.
- got my webcam to work.
- had a lot of fun solving simple yet interesting problems.

Therefore I thank everyone contributing in this googlegroup, be it sending by bug reports, success reports or posting patches. I really enjoyed the past year and I am happily looking back on the stuff we achieved.

And the best thing is: We are not yet done, there are still a few features missing. So the project will hopefully go on so nicely for another few months.

I hope most of you understand that I was unsure where this project would lead to at first. This particularly meant for me that I registered this fresh googlemail account and used a pseudonym for everything I wrote and developed here. Anyway we haven't turned into a crack-dealing mafia or entered into activities that would incriminate me in my home legal system (we haven't, right?).

So I came to the conclusion that it only fits if I finally drop a bit of anonymity and sign at least this "Happy Birthday, microdia project!" mail with my own name.

Josua "GWater" Grawitter

PS: For everyone who's sceptical and thinks someone cracked GWater's mail account - you can validate this mail by it's PGP signature.

PPS: If everyone is ok with it I'll change a few "GWater" copyright notices into more legally effective ones containing my real name.
