una cosa que desubri, para las personas que usan opensuse 11.1 x86_64,
si este comando no les funciona

 $ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l2convert.so mplayer tv:// -tv \
      driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=25:device=/dev/video0 -vo xv

solo prueben esto

 $ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libv4l/v4l2convert.so mplayer tv:// -tv \
      driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=25:device=/dev/video0 -vo xv

porque libv4l2 esta guardado en esta carpeta /usr/lib64/libv4l/

a thing that I discovered, for the people who use opensuse 11,1 x86_64,
if this commando does not work to them

$ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l2convert.so mplayer tv:// -tv \
      driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=25:device=/dev/video0 -vo xv

only use this

$ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libv4l/v4l2convert.so mplayer tv:// -tv \
      driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=25:device=/dev/video0 -vo xv

because libv4l2 it is save in /usr/lib64/libv4l/
