Since the patch keys of the name of the driver as reportted by v4l it
should work the exact same for anyone using our driver.

Are you sure you are using the right version of libv4l? You originally
were using debian packages which usally install themselves under
/usr/lib, however if you compile and install it from scratch it will
unless told differently install under /usr/local/lib.
