It can happen due to usb hub with external power. In this case devices will not be resetted during reboot. It really looks like issue of USB bus on your motherboard/laptop. AFAIR VX-6000 has same sensor as I have (ov9650), and my cam is integrated in laptop. It works perfectly. Regards Vasily
