Hello everyone,
I've just downloaded and registered the latest version of MicroDot2
(v1.3) and I'm having problems setting up different accounts.
The first account I created was fine, but with subsequent ones that
I thought I setup OK seem to be wrong.
In the Account Manager window, Network page, I set up the details for
Mail and News. I copied the details for the Esoteric page from the
first account.
When I check for news on the second or subsequent accounts I get the
error message:
/#Connection to host news.demon.co.uk failed.#/
/#Network error: Can't assign requested address (49)#/
So I checked the account setup. Everything seemed to be OK apart from
the Esoteric page, where all the port numbers had reset themselves to
0.
I re-entered them and tried again. Same problem. Back into the
Account Manager, and they had set themselves to 0 again.
Any ideas?
