Why not:
<span class="pastorg">Preston High School</span>
<span class="pasttitle">Class President</span>
<span class="currentorg">McDonalds</span>
<span class="currenttitle">Burger Flipper</span>
(bearing in mind that many people have more than one current job (or
other role, such as voluntary work)?
I would avoid class="title", anyway, as there's already a title
attribute.
