Everyone... what is the process for beginning to create a microformat? Does that happen in the wiki?

I'll dig around, but if anyone as any info about how to begin the process, it would be most welcome.

I'm interested in helping out. I don't know the underlying principles
of 'designing' a microformat, but I think with enough people talking
and building, together we can create something useful.
