I agree that there seems to be a need for a pithy end-user description or demo displayed or linked to prominently somewhere on the site. In that spirit, I added in two blurbs to 'what-can-you-do...' that are generically about microformats, and a third more specific one that assumes a working citation microformat, then explains why that'll be great for me. :) Feel free to edit as you see fit, and if you don't want speculation on the 'what you can do' evangelism page, feel free to cut that one or move it to a 'what will you be able to do' page if necessary.
