I concur with Ryan's opinion. You never know what application may be discovered for it in the future (which is the beautiful thing about powerful ideas).

Yes, I think so. useful? Yes and no. I'm not sure of who supports rel-enclosure and I'm not aware of any tools that would make use of the enclosure in this case. If there were tools (like a browser that supported enclosures), however, this could be very useful. Either way, I say use it, but that's just my opinion.
