So here's my problem. I've been struggling all afternoon with an effective way to mark up this as an hCalendar event: http://greatisland.ca/calendar/test.html As you can see, there are three different occurences of the same event. I tried the RDATE method from hcalendar-brainstorming on the wiki but it wouldn't parse properly. Any ideas as to how one would go about this?
iCalendar, but maybe your calendar application does not support RDATE?
not all parsers and calender software used out in the real world support recurring events properly. (and much to my frustration other stuff like timezone support in calendar software varies
too) I would suggest if you want all software out there to read it and there are not many repetitions of a recurring event, to mark up it as seperate events - until more software out there supports this feature. (everything should at least support the basics - summary, dtstart, dtend, etc) I guess - when in doubt, keep it as simple as possible!
