Thanks a lot Brian. I have implemented your suggestions. Here is the
document:

errick-Crane-resume.html
--- i convert this to an ics file and attempted to import it. Without
a month and/or day in the ISO date Apple's iCal just ignores the
dates.
There are a few other events in that document that I am stymied as to
how to represent the dates:
1. The person was a co-op engineer in the Fall of 1997. How do I
represent dtstart and dtend for "Fall of 1997"?
--- this is when you will have to give an ISO date of what you think
best respresents that season.
2. The person was an assistant mechanic during the summers of 1993,
1994, 1995. How do I represent dtstart and dtend for "summers of 1993,
1994, 1995"?
You can use RDATE:
<abbr class="rdate" title="20010910/20020901,20050101/20070122"><abbr
title="20010910" class="dtstart">9/01</abbr>–9/02, 1/05–Present</abbr>
you aren't the first person to ask about this, so maybe we should
document more information about this on the wiki.
3. The person was a mini-baja participant during Fall 1996 - Spring
1997. How do I represent dtstart and dtend for "Fall 1996 - Spring
1997"?
This could be a combination of RDATE and an iSO date for each season.
I hope this helps,
