Thanks Scott - sorry I didn't spot this earlier. I think it would be worth 
re-opening this issue since there was no conclusion.

What appears to be missing from the original discussion was input from 
implementers e.g. how would an existing client implementation react to an empty 
HTML form marked-up with microformat classes? What are the constraints on 
taking this concept further?

Are there any implementers out there who could comment?
