Dear [Ss]emweb weavers,
W3C's Semantic Web Education and Outreach (SWEO) Interest Group [1]
supports a number of community projects to demonstrate the value of the
Semantic Web to a wider audience. One of the chosen projects[2] aims at
creating a lightweight, webby address book/contact organizer based on a
subset of available semweb technologies such as microformats, RDF(S),
and SPARQL, the RDF protocol and query language.
I'd like to invite interested microformateers and RDFers to participate
and contribute. So far I've only set up a dev environment at Google
Code[3], and a mailing list[4]. The wiki there is still rather empty,
but that'll hopefully change soon. (Apologies for cross-posting btw, the
knowee-dev list will/should be used for further messages.)
Cheers,
Benjamin
