It's a PHP5 library for GRDDL; which can be used to extract microformats. It will Tidy input pages, and you can force it to look for profiles that aren't declared in <head> See also: http://code.google.com/p/xmlgrddl/wiki/UsageExample The result is RDF/XML; and with a bit of elbow grease and xpath; you could make a fairly effective, expandable microformat validator ontop of it.
