-1 from me, PHP5 is approaching 4 years old and PHP6 is just around
the corner, and the gains from using PHP5's object syntax are almost
immeasurable IMO.
There are still lots of people stuck with php4 on shared servers
... and there is lots of legacy code out there in the real world that still
needs to work (forget about finding time to rewrite it all!)
What did they expect? ... changing a language in ways that breaks existing
code is hardly the way to encourage people to upgrade to a new version!
