What tool or services are out there that index and tabulate Microformats as such?

There's also http://sindice.com, which indexes microformats, RDFa and RDF/XML.

You can search for "format:XFN", "format:HCARD", format:MICROFORMAT" and look at the result count to get a feel for the number of pages in the index. Obviously, Sindice knows about a much smaller part of the Web than the numbers you quoted above.

Best,
Richard

Another question: how do people feel about the use of the word "Microformat" as a verb or adjective, aka "microformatted content" or "can you please Microformat that page with an hCard?"

Thanks,
Karsten
