Thanks for pointing out that work, Andy. Existing and well-established practice in citing Bible passages is rather different from most of these: * Book (of the Bible, e.g. Isaiah or Is.), chapter and verse designators are the most common: "Is 40:6" would be a typical case. * Sometimes a specific translation is referenced, usually with an abbreviation: e.g. "KJV" for the King James Version. * Fields like author, publication date, publisher, volume, etc. simply aren't used for 99% of the cases: that's not what people care about when citing Bible passages.
