What I usually do is knock 20% off of the rated power of a panel to make up
for 'real world" conditions, and battery inefficiency, then I size from
there. When the factory tests panels they have perfect light conditions
which does not apply to real world conditions, ie. smog etc.
Panels are rated as follows; Open cirquit voltage, (Voc), Maximum power
voltage, (Vpm), Short cirquit Current, (Isc), Maximum power current, (Ipm),
Maximum power, (Pm), Minimum power (Pm), and Module efficiency.
