The 40 volt motor may produce more Amperes, but this is highly misleading. Total power produced is the main goal, and Power = Amperes X Volts, so now, which one will produce more Power? Given the same input power and RPM, then IN THEORY, the output power will be equal, except that one will be at a lower voltage and higher current, and the other will be at proportionally higer voltage and lower current. ------------------------ Yahoo!
