Ivan:
Francis is not a Turgo.

Look into Turgos, easier to build, there are some manufacturers in South
Africa
Francois Swanepoel [EMAIL PROTECTED] maybe still producing Bankis in
south Africa

Calculate around 2500 to 5000 installed KW ( variations due to the
engineering work).

Around 1000 dollars per KW looks OK ( Turbine, generator and controller),
though make sure that the generator is a BRUSHLESS Type.

Can you down load large files ?.
http://microhydropower.net/download/layman2.pdf 10 MB long good hydro
manual

http://microhydropower.net/download/bestpractsynthe.pdf may be good for you
as well.

Regards

Nando
