Hello Pocobaya,
My friend Dan New of Canyon Industries in Washington
took a look at this Banki design and liked it. Carlos
in Chile hasn't gotten back to me on this.
I would still like more comments. I will send photos.

What we were trying to do was to create an adaptable
Banki design which could be produced in a small shop
from locally available materials and would produce
enough power to light a village, or power a factory,
at the lowest possible cost.

In a few days we will be going over the Andes to a
gold mine in a remote valley. The owner heard rumors
of $100 a barrel oil (Goldman Sachs)and would like to
see if he can use waterpower. Before, he would have
carried in diesel.
It might just be that a new Golden Age of Waterpower
is starting. About time!

Remember, waterpower is the only form of natural
energy for which machines can be made locally.

We patent some of our designs--like the Watermotor,
Campo Nuevo Greenhouse, Ferroform wavy wire machine
for ferrocement, our ram pump. Others are simply
registered to prevent others from claiming the design
as their own.
By the way, anyone interested in ferrocement, there
are a number of pictures of fc tankmaking and the wavy
wire machine on Google Images.
Search: "ron davis" watermotor
Ferrocement and microhydro go together. The wavy
wire makes ferrocement very easy.
