I have been asked to gather some rough pricing information on a micro hydro power generator proposed for a site here in Colorado. I have been given the following information: Desired power capacity = 5 MW, Typical hydraulic head = 200 ft, and Maximum hydraulic head = 250 ft. I would appreciate a rough cost estimate for a power plant meeting these specifications. Please indicate if the estimated cost includes installation. At this time, that�s all the information I have been given. I am not looking for a detailed estimate at this time, just an initial working ballpark figure. I would greatly appreciate an expedited answer, as I have been asked to provide this information by the end of business today. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
