We are interested in installing micro hydropower at property that is about 40
miles south of Buffalo New York. This proposed micro hydro would be for our
private use at our small home, which is off the grid. The property had the
capacity to generate small amounts of hydroelectric power years ago, although
the old system is no longer functioning. We are not sure whether it would make
sense to install some kind of micro hydropower on this location, or whether to
use a new site on the property.

Initially, we would want to hire someone to do an initial consultation,
presumably someone not too far away from us, geographically.

Is there anyone who might be interested in talking to us about consulting and
installing in western New York (Cattaraugus County)?

Edith White
