Well the shipments of turbine, rectifier cabinate, C-60 controller, dump load and various miscellaneous parts came in last week. Only problem was, the UPS dock monkeys dropped the rectifier cabinate hard enough to rip one of the transformers loose and subsequent handling slamed the loose transformer around smashing connectors and pulling loose wires. Derik of Hydro Induction Power is building me another one to ship next Friday.
I pressure tested the penstock and have 56# PSI static. That converts to 130 ft. of head, just what I expected. I spent the wekend getting the olive barrel housing set up for the turbine and it is now in place and ready for final installation. I have all the plumbing fittings and the wire is run from the house down the bluff to the barrel. I've posted a few more pictures tonight. It finally started to rain today, so by the time I get it ready, we should have water and power to spare. ------------------------ Yahoo!
