Sorry for any duplicate postings. Hi Micronet,
Dell recently updated it's Latitude laptop line and the previous line will reach end of life sooner than we expected, so we will revise the JACS models this month. We are transitioning JACS from a committee to an open forum to hopefully solicit increased campus input. Please see the following Google Docs (UC Berkeley login required) for information on the upcoming conference call, which will be held this Friday, April 4 at 10am as well as a description of what is changing in the JACS specifications and some preliminary model updates. Information about the conference call will be available by Thursday, April 3. The primary changes are to the Dell Latitude models, which our the standard Windows laptops. There will also be some minor configuration changes to the Dell OptiPlex desktop line as well as recent Apple updates.
