You may have seen Kathleen Valerio's announcement yesterday about *free*
CalPact training workshops for campus staff, being offered through June
2016.

This is to forward a note from Isaac Mankita (below), originally sent to
the BPAWG user group, spotlighting some new offerings and underscoring the
usefulness of these workshops. Of particular note:

"Newly included in this schedule are classes on Google Drive and the many
applications included as part of the Google Apps suite, and, in parthership
with IST, ongoing learning opportunities about Open Berkeley, a turnkey web
platform solution for UC Berkeley websites."

To see the complete list of workshops offered, see the attachment in
Kathleen's email yesterday, or visit

"On-Site Classes" link.

Colleagues,

I encourage you to review the CalPact class offerings attached to this
message. I have attended several of the classes and have found them
useful. Newly included in this schedule are classes on Google Drive and
the many applications included as part of the Google Apps suite, and, in
parthership with IST, ongoing learning opportunities about Open Berkeley, a
turnkey web platform solution for UC Berkeley websites.

If the listed offerings don't meet your needs, note the resources listed at
the bottom of the schedule, including virtualinstructor live workshops,
E-learn interactive courses and discounts on other course available through
AcademyX.

You can direct questions to Kathleen Valerio.

--Isaac
