http://www.wordtolatex.com sounds like the sort of thing you are looking for 
(check out http://www.wordtolatex.com/upload), but in the other direction: 
Word-to-LaTeX.  I wonder if they might be able to do what you’re looking for, 
which is essentially the same thing, but in reverse…..
