Description: The Sr. Applications Engineer - Salesforce.com Integration will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, engineering, and implementation of all the Salesforce.com integrations with Oracle . The candidate should have exceptional technical skills in development and customization of salesforce.com integrations and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Actively participate and lead workshops to understand and document data and salesforce.com system integration requirements
* Design and develop integrations and conversions based on the Salesforce.com application
* Lead the execution and documentation of testing efforts (unit, system and performance)
* Research Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis
* Participate and work collaboratively with team members, both onshore and offshore
* Supervise others and ensure quality deliverables of the integration team
Competencies
* Expert knowledge of Salesforce.com
o force.com
o APEX programming
o S-Controls
o AppExchange applications
o Workflows
* Technical background in programming languages and web-based applications
o C++, C#, Java, XML, .NET, etc.
* Detailed knowledge of data migration & integration tools and methodologies
o EAI, APIs & Web Services
o Middleware applications (Oracle Fusion/ Weblogic.)
o ETL tools
* Familiarity with reporting and analytical tools (OBIEE, SAS, Business Objects, etc.)
* Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment partnering with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems
* Ability to plan and execute tasks in a structured manner
* Able to work, collaborate and contribute in a team environment
* Demonstrates analytical/quantitative skills or experience
o Logical/Perceptive, problem solving, detail oriented, solution oriented
* Flexibility/Adaptability
o Handles ambiguity, Assertive, Works well with many styles juggles responsibility well
Experience
* 3-5 years of experience implementing Salesforce.com (5-7 years of total application integration experience)
* Completed multiple full life-cycle Salesforce.com implementations (preferably PRM)
* Knowledge of SDLC processes and tools, Scrum certification preferred
* Must have experience preparing technical specifications, detailed design documents and developing test cases
* Solid understanding of CRM/PRM capabilities and functional areas
* Experienced in leading and managing others on a team
* Experienced in development methodologies and software delivery lifecycle
o Requirements/Design/Develop/Test/Deploy
o Iterative Design & Prototyping (Agile)
Education
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 3-5 years of Experience working in a technical role with Salesforce.com
