Our Direct Client needs good Consultant for following position.

*Position:* * **Programmer/Analyst II** ** - Java Programmer*

Place of Work: Albany, NY



Estimated Start date: 12/09/2008



*Duration*: 12 months with possible Extensions for 2nd & 3rd year



*MUST HAVE ALL MARKED SKILLS*





Interviews: *ONLY FACE – FACE NO PHONE INTERVIEWS** *(Interviews are planned
during 2nd or 3rd Week of November; Interviews will be held in person at
Albany.)



Travel: None anticipated.



*Mandatory Skills & Experience:***



1 – One or more years of direct development experience with *Hibernate* and
*Spring.*

2 – Five or more years experience with object-oriented design and analysis,
web application development, and component-based development.



3 – Five or more years working experience with Java, *JavaServer Pages*, and
Java *Servlets*, specifically involved in the design and development of
web-based J2EE applications using n-tier architectures.



4 – Two or more years direct experience developing in *WebSphere Portal 5.0*or
*higher*. (This does not include administration experience).



5 – Two or more years of development experience using *Struts**.*



6 – Five or more years experience working in a multi-tier Web
infrastructure.



7– Two or more years experience with *DBUnit** *and *JUnit**.*





8– Excellent *Documentation* skills.  (must submit a technical writing
sample written by the candidate)



9 – Two or more years experience working on a government web based system.



10 – Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

(The candidate will respond to two complex problems during the interview.)






*SCOPE OF SERVICES *



The web-based system will require the *services of a programmer* who will
work in a team environment with State staff and consultant staff. Under the
direction of the OSC Vendor Responsibility Project Technical Lead and
working through the System Architect/Lead Developer or the Senior Programmer
the programmer will:



*1.1. *Perform assigned development activities, which may include but are
not limited to design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.



*1.2. *Work with the OSC Project Team to further define system requirements.




*1.3. *Provide training/mentoring to State staff.
