Hello Friends am looking for the – Built \ Release Engineer
San Francisco CA with a large Financial Company Face to Face required Responsibilities Include: - Define, document, and maintain Configuration Management standards and procedures for assigned ISD platforms; this includes branch and merge management, configuration item identification and version control, baseline management, and governance - Perform branch and merge activities according to procedures and the release schedule - Consult with platform Developers and Integration Engineers to help define build and deployment procedures and resolve configuration management issues; maintain build scripts - Perform software builds and deployments for assigned platforms and releases - Take ownership of incident management activities for unplanned outages in pre-production environments. Manage communications and escalations, tracking the issue to closure - Manage and control pre-production environment configurations - responsible for coordinating and implementing changes to existing environments and the creation of new wnvironments. - Coordinate with development, release management, and quality assurance on schedules and handovers for builds and deployments - communicate clearly and specifically when there are delays or issues with resuming service after a scheduled build, deployment, or maintenance outage Minimum Qualifications: - 5 years of experience, in pre-production environment, of building and deploying applications in QA environments with at least 2 years of experience deploying *J2EE applications *on *WebLogic* application server - Proven experience using and supporting *base ClearCase and/or UCM* - Experience performing SCM tasks on the *Unix* platform. *Solaris*preferred. - Must have scripting skills using one of the popular languages on Unix, such as *Perl, Shell, awk, Python* - Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and supporting multiplatform enterprise application environments - Experience working with defect/change tracking tool such as Rational * ClearQuest* or equivalent - Proven success working in a fast paced, highly time critical environment where reporting status and closing issues with customers/partners/team members is expected - Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to influence and collaborate - B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline Preferred Qualifications: - Former programming background - Project management background/skills - Skills with visio/excel or similar tools, to put together quick/small presentations * PLEASE SEND ME THE RESUMES TO MY OFFICIAL ID BELOW* *Best Regards* *Chris** Nihaki Systems,Inc.
