Duration: 12 + months This Architect/Developer will take a leadership role in Agile/Scrum development team creating the next generation of healthcare applications on the web. In this environment you will be responsible for developing, documenting and communicating the architecture to your fellow architects, the development team and across the organization. As an architect you are expected to have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. You are expected to collaborate with the business and IT partners on the development of an overall strategy for your area. As a SOA Architect, you are expected to have deep understanding of SOA, Service Models (including Service Information Architecture, Enterprise Versioning, etc.), Web Services Security, WS* (WS-Security, WS-Interoperability, WS-Logging), ESBs (web services management, orchestration, Service Registry, transformation, etc.), messaging (synchronous vs asynchronous messaging), web services tooling (Axis Web Service tool kit, XML Spy). The team will turn to you for developing strategies for testing services, monitoring services in production, identifying services and developing service specifications between producer and consumer, At least 7 years of J2EE development, 2-3 years developing in portal, specific experience with the following required: Technologies Deep Knowledge of Object Oriented Software Development Patterns – deep familiarity and how to apply Unix - Linux or Solaris Java Server Pages IBM WAS XML, XSLT SOAP, WSDL UDDI AXIS WS* REST services Tooling CVS, Subversion Continuum Maven Eclipse, RAD XML Spy JUnit Other UML Modeling – the process and tooling (ideally Together) Please send resume with rate cofirmation and contact details in same email.
