Description:
The CRM Sr. Developer will be responsible for working with Technical
Lead/Architect,
Business analysts and other developers to implement and maintain Siebel CRM
solutions.
As the CRM Sr. Developer you will play a pivotal role in the initial deployment
of Siebel CRM applications for one of the client's divisions. The initial focus
will be on enhancing and streamlining call center and data entry activities,
replacing or integrating with legacy applications, and CTI integration. Likely
additional phases include other functional areas such as sales and marketing,
maintenance and support, and additional deployment phases for other divisions.
Responsibilities will include:
* Participating in requirements gathering sessions; and helping develop
conceptual
and detail design to shape solutions.
* Adhering to best practices for standards for design, coding, and security.
* Evaluating functional requirements against the Siebel CRM out-of-the-box
capabilities
and look for opportunities to adapt the business needs to existing
functionality.
Understand the trade-offs necessary and the technical impact.
* Effectively communicating design decisions and solutions to business teams
and IT Management.
* Verifying design and development performed by team members and making sure
they adhere to Siebel development standards and keeps implementation on upgrade
path.
* Writing technical specification documentation.
* Performing gap analysis and work with Project manager to plan development
phase.
* Developing and testing Siebel solutions (configuration, data conversions
and/or
integrations) to address business requirements.
* Working with the Project Manager to stay on schedule and in scope, raise and
help resolve issues and risks, and accurately represent project status.
* Working with Project Manager to help Plan and then execute deployment
activities.
* Managing Siebel Servers for multiple environments.
* Supporting, training and guiding the team members to improve their skills.
* Performing performance tuning on production Siebel application as required.
* Maintaining and supporting production Siebel application and work with Siebel
support to resolve open issues.
* Ensuring compliance with application release management, outage management
and change control processes and standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in an IT related area or equivalent work experience.
* Siebel Certified Consultant.
* Five+ years of Experience delivering quality Siebel CRM solutions.
* Experience delivering two + full life cycle implementation.
* Experience with Siebel Configuration; Business Components, Views, Applets,
Roles & Responsibilities, Workflow, eScript, SmartScript.
* Experience with event driven Configuration, such as Workflow Policies and
Run-time
Events.
* Experience configuring VBCs and EBCs.
* Experience integrating Siebel with other applications. Exposure to EAI, EIM,
integration objects, integration error handling, and integration concepts
(real-time,
batch,
sync/async).
* Experience with web service configuration for both subscribing to external
web services and exposing Siebel business layer objects as web services.
* Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
* Excellent Understanding of Siebel Development process, architecture, and data
model.
* Working knowledge of db technologies and relational database concepts.
Desired:
* Experience with OBIEE (Siebel Analytics) & CTI is plus.
* Exposure to Siebel UCM or any other MDM packaged solution.
* Familiarity with core technology areas such as .Net, J2EE, Windows/Unix shell
scripting, operating systems, and network administration etc.
* Familiarity with middleware technologies such as BEA, Tibco, Web Methods, or
MQ Series.
* Experience with Oracle & MS SQL Server RDBMS.
* Experience with Right Fax integration with Siebel.
* Experience working in FDA regulated environment.
* Experience with Pharmaceutical business process.
* Experience with Automated Testing tools
