I received a contract order for a high-level project manager with SAP functional and technical skills. Must have SAP *BW-BPS - Business Planning*experience for Business Warehouse. Must be able to *program in ABAP* and have *strong backend database* experience. *This includes travel, globally, to manage*. This is a 4-5 month project in St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, Michigan. * * *Please send resume to [email protected]* **BW DEVELOPER BPS** Build, Test and Deploy BPS Forecasting Application to support Hedging Process for Direct Procurement Organization in Asia including both China and India and Europe Regions. Primary focus is to analyze business requirements and convert them into a technical solutions that will meet or succeed requirements. These solutions are required to designed and built for performance and maintainability Duties and Responsibilities 1. Maintain, monitor, and develop the BPS technical solutions and processes. 2. Design, build, and support BEx Queries, Workbooks. and Web Templates 3. Responsible for modeling BW scenarios, providing a high level architecture, be able to design, build and deploy system solutions including documentation. 4. Work with the BW regional resources to integrate, standardize, to a global design with regional data sources. 5. Create and maintain detailed project plans, be able to identify and communicate problems before they become critical. 6. Correcting, revising, and improving functional programs to make operating refinements, reduce operating time, and improve present techniques and procedures. 7. Design, build, test, document, and maintain data extracts, Process Chains, ODS Objects, and InfoCubes. 8. Create documentation as required for good SDLC practices. 9. Coordination with security team. 10. Performance Tuning of BW applications (Data Extraction, OLAP processes) Additional responsibilities: 1. Train the internal resources on BPS Technical Skills as well as Hedging Application to build internal assets within GBS and GDC. 2. Provide information and advice during detailed requirements definition. 3. Support to Business Users. 4. Analysis of the Production issues and providing the solutions. BPS Qualifications - 3 Years of Solid BW/Back end and BEx. - 2 Years of solid ABAP - 2 years of solid BPS development work - Strong in custom update rules using ABAP - Strong experience in FOX and BPS planning environment. - *Strong in ABAP based BPS Planning functions ** *- Strong in trouble shooting experience - BW Work experience in Purchasing and Accounts Payable area is PLUS. Should be highly skilled in process chain design and have experience with using Maestro with SAP 4. Proven SAP and BW reporting development experience utilizing various reporting tools not exclusive to: Web Application Designer, Business Explorer, and SAP Enterprise Portal. 5. Experience with performance monitoring and tuning 6. Working knowledge of SAP R3 is a plus 7. ABAP programming and database experience 8. Ability to simultaneously support multiple projects while assisting with maintenance activities when necessary. 9. Self motivated, driven individual who is able to drive projects and assignments to completion 10. Proven planning, process development, documentation, analytical, written and verbal communication skills required. 11. Provide project support during non-standard work hours as required. 12.
