*Position: **BigIP Engineer*
*Duration: 6 months*

The BigIP Load Balancing Engineer will be an expert in the F5 Load Balancing
platform, along with a solid Network background including Layer 2 through
Layer 4. This would include an understanding of switch, network, and
firewall concepts. The Engineer must possess a strong TCP understanding as
it pertains to packet inspection and TCP flow in the Network and Application
flows.
*Candidate experience consisting of Global load MUST have
production environment balancing, local load balancing, SSL accelerators,
HTTP compressors and DNS servers *
* Candidate Experience - TCP/IP, Administration of networking MUST
have strong Networking hardware *
* Candidate experience with complex Web hosting network MUST have
design and maintenance architectures *
* Candidate working in structured change management MUST have
extensive experience processes for highly available enterprise networks *
* Candidate configuring major Internet host/network MUST have
experience building and services including but not limited to: Web (http,
SSL, etc.), Mail (sendmail, etc.), DNS, NFS, NIS/NIS+, Automounter,
Databases (Oracle, etc.) and Java. *
* Experience switches, load balancers and SSL accelerators in
directly managing routers, high-availability infrastructure *
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both *
*Min. Requirements:*
* 7+ years of Networking experience*
* 5+ years of F5 experience*
* 7 + years experience with Cisco, TCP/IP & UNIX*
*The Portal Architect designs solutions which enable existing and new
applications, application components, packaged software and systems to work
together in a consistent user experience through a portal framework. *
*Required Experience *
* 7+ years architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise
technical expertise in solutions *
* 2+ years and implementing WebSphere Portal solutions technical
expertise in designing for both internal and external usage *
* Hands-on solution Architect or similar position experience as a
WebSphere Portal *
* Experience provided by vendors such as IBM, BEA, Microsoft, with
SOA based technologies or SUN *
* Strong understanding and/or development experience in
Architecture skills with an Portlet standards/frameworks, Security,
Personalization, Content Management, J2EE, SOAP, Web Service standards
(e.g., WS-Security), UDDI, SOA governance, and data governance *
* Hands-on Architecture and XML/Schema documentation experience with
UML, Enterprise tools (including tools like Visio, WebSphere Integration
Developer, XMLSpy, Rational Software Architect, etc.) *
* Some experience with Enterprise Integration technologies including
MQSI, Message Broker v5/v6, WebSphere Process Server, or CrossWorlds *
*Required Skills/Knowledge *
