Position: Linux Systems Administrator Location: Charlotte, NC C2C Rate: $35hr Duration: 8 months Primary Skills: UNIX # of Years Required: 2-4 Secondary Skills: Server # of Years Required: 4-6 Job Purpose/ Description: Support corporate rollout of RHEL Linux operating system. The position will support various projects including channel stabilization. Tasks and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities (Role): Linux System Administration for Red Hat Linux (RHEL) Operating System and HP/Intel hardware. Support corporate rollout of RHEL operating system including building Linux infrastructure on an as needed basis. Serves as deployment subject matter expert (SME) on troubleshooting and problem resolution activities. Provide support for Linux based applications and servers on an as needed basis. Develop partnerships with engineering, operations, and application development groups. Report on progress to technical lead, project manager and technology management.
