Two Week Contract in NY, NY. **We are looking to use Coherence Basic in a few applications and Coherence Enterprise in another, all J2EE applications deployed in WebLogic clusters. We have peak periods of 400,000 hits per hours to the application servers for the most active application. One use for Coherence Basic is for a J2EE-based tool used to author and serve content to supplement all of our textbooks. We want to use Coherence to cache XML to make serving the content faster and more reliable. We currently use Open Symphony for this but do not get sufficient cache management facilities with this. We also want to use Coherence Basic with a Homework Management platform to provide better performance for retrieving user data. The most complex case, for Coherence Enterprise, is with an eBook/custom publishing solution that interacts with MarkLogic.
