*Job Requirements*:
The Data Networking/VoIP Solutions Architect is expected to be a subject
matter expert supporting the application and design of data networking
technologies. The incumbent is required to be experienced in all aspects of
Ethernet and IP networking with CCNP or CCDP certification. Possessing
CSSIP, CCVP and CCIE certifications are considered a major plus. Role will
be as a contributor in writing RFP specifications for a major large scale
project for LAN/WAN design and VOIP.
The incumbent will provide architectural leadership in conjunction with a
business, project management team and several operations teams in support of
a large enterprise environment. The environment involves supporting the
telecommunication system needs of a large client (build-out of large
education facility with capacity of 30000 students in a foreign country).
Candidates at this level must have experience and knowledge in several IT
disciplines. Primary disciplines will be data networking systems with
secondary emphasis in IP telephony, wireless, network security and
operational support systems.

*Major Activities and/or Essential Functions:*
· Lead discussions with business teams and technology teams to
gather requirements and develop solutions.
· Participate in RFP creation, write specifications for LAN/WAN
design and VOIP
Qualifications
· Must have written at multiple large scale RFPs for LAN/WAN design
and VOIP projects (out of state and country preferred).
· Acted as a Lead senior Consultant or Solutions Architect on the
initial RFP’s
· Contributes as SME for data networking and VoIP
discipline/functional area.
· SME in LAN and WAN
· Strong Telephony background with Call Manager (in a large scale
environment)
· Superior vendor negotiator for obtaining viable and most
appropriate solutions.
· Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications or related IT field and
four or more years experience in telecommunication systems design during
which the ability to perform this role has been demonstrated.
· Must possess a thorough knowledge of telecommunications technology
across several disciplines and have a working knowledge of information
systems.
· Cisco CCNA or CCDA certification, Cisco CCNP or CCDP
certification.
· Cisco CCIE is a plus
· Strong Wireless Experience
· Cellular regeneration experience is a plus (cellular enhancement)
· SAN (Storage Area Network) experience is a plus
