Consultant will be part of DBA team supporting 50+ Oracle databases. Consultant will provide 24x7 on call support on a rotational basis. Consultant may also be assigned to work on projects installing and configuring Oracle databases 7-10 years of Oracle Production Support DBA experience installing, configuring and supporting Oracle on numerous flavors of Unix including *AIX, HP, Linux and Solaris* Extensive experience working with *Oracle 9i and 10g R2 (OLTP and DSS)* Experience with standby databases Extensive experience using *RMAN *and Data Guard for backup/recovery Experience with large databases (at least 1TB) UNIX Shell Scripting Performance tuning, monitoring Willingness to perform rotational 24/7 on call support Flexibility for after hour and weekend work .
