*Title:* Sr. Engineer, Software Engineering *Location(s):* Purchase, NY *Req Number:* mast-00014049 *# of Open Positions:* 1 *Bill Rate:* $40/hr CTC *Desired Start Date:* 05/01/2009 *Desired End Date:* 04/30/2011 As a Senior Engineer, Software Engineering, the candidate will work with the Business Intelligence group on support an Internal reporting application called Enterprise Analytics (EA) which provides reporting for many diverse subject areas within MasterCard. New reports and subject areas are added to EA on a regular basis. The candidate may work on other applications like b-Smart reporting, a Sales Operations application. Assigned projects include working with other technical teams and business owners to understand business requirements and document design and development deliverables, as well as creating complex Business Objects reports. The candidate is also responsible for meeting MasterCard's process and methodology requirements and demonstrates effective communications skills. *' Strong analytical skills:* Ability to use creative approaches to solve technical problems Experience writing detailed design documents Experience delivering successful projects on time and within budget Experience writing detailed test cases for report testing Experience estimating development effort Experience with structured methodologies Ability to adapt to changing priorities ' *Technical Skills:* The candidate must be experienced with Business Objects and Oracle SQL. ' Business Objects XI R2' minimum three years experience developing WebI and DeskI reports of medium to high complexity. ' Oracle/SQL knowledge ' minimum two years experience with Data Warehouse environments.
