We currently have a need for a very senior level Infrastructure Architect in
Washington, DC. I have included the position requirements below.

*MUST HAVE Skills/Experience*
- Several years of experience designing Server/Infrastructure solutions,
preferably:
1. Windows Server Environment
2. Working Knowledge of UNIX operating systems within a heterogeneous
environment, interacting with Windows
3. Ability to take business requirements such as capacity planning,
fault tolerance, mission criticality and translating these into
a technical
solution
- B.A. or B.S. degree
- SQL experience
- Good understanding of LAN and WAN technology concepts
- Good documentation and writing skills, ability to document in Visio
- Strong Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Self-starter, can independently complete work without a lot of
direction

*HIGHLY DESIRABLE*
- B.S. Computer Sciences or Sciences Discipline (Math, Engineering)
- Experience with Google Earth, Google Fusion, GIS/mapping technology
- Working knowledge of LINUX
- Experience with Sun/Solaris Operating System
- Good working knowledge of disk/storage subsystems
- Knowledge of network hardware/software, e.g., routing, switching and
Telco data circuits
- Knowledge of firewalls and IT security issues
