I have the following immediate need:

 

Embedded Software Engineer:

 

There is an urgent requirement for 2 embedded software engineers to take part

in an ongoing project in the development of switches and routers. Following

are the required qualifications for the engineers:

 

Location: Santa Clara,CA

Duration:6 Months

 

* MSEE/CS combined with 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10+ yrs related experience.

* Excellent C programming skills.

* Experience in designing and implementing diagnostic software.

* Clarity in OS internals and functioning of CPU subsystems

* Good understanding of networking, especially Ethernet and its related protocols

* Proven ability to design and develop large software projects

* Good understanding of L2/ L3 fundamentals

* Superior bug fixing, problem solving and testing skills.

* In-depth knowledge of own product and broad knowledge of other related products

* Understanding device driver and hardware details a plus.
