Position: QA Lead with Networking Duration: 9+ months (Extendable) Rate: $40 Corp In-person interview in RTP, North Carolina MUST Description: QA Lead with Networking Technical Requirements - MUST HAVES QA engineer who has significantly contributed in end to end testing of large software application/solution Experience in functional, integration, system as well as NFR testing (scalability, performance, high availability, usability etc) Experience in testing web based as well as stand-alone applications Excellent skills in test automation, scripting (Shell, TCL/Tk) Should be strong in building scripts Good understanding of codes through all phases Strong in pushing Video through Digital Media Strong in MPEG 2, 4, Streaming Video, Basic Network TV, IP based Should have very strong hands on skills with Boxes that convert IP (Internet Protocol) streams into video outputs - these boxes take the data and they convert them into video streams Candidate should be extremely strong in setting up these boxes, breaking, debugging and diagnosing boxes understand the softwares that need to be put on to them Strong in troubleshooting Should have good skills in Flash, Video, Java Programming, Phones - should know how the solutions work end to end Should be able to advise on bugs diagnosis, where and how old solutions are, recommend change and solutions Good understanding and skills in usage of Linux. Good understanding of software development methodologies Must Have Skills: Digital Media Systems, IP Video, Cisco IP Phone Experience in testing Networking products Experience in testing Linux Based Applications Experience with Digital Media or IP TV in test history is very desirable Good communication skills Other: Excellent communication and leadership skills Self driven Strong ability of customer facing Worked well with cross geographic and cross-functional teams including multiple teams and partners.
