Must read the detailed job description below before submitting candidates.* This is a 6 month+ month project in Columbia, SC. *Position:* SAP ABAP Migration expert with Public Sector experience *# of Openings:* 2 *Start Date:* ASAP *Duration:* 6+ month - with extensions *Location:* Columbia, SC *Rate:* Open *SCOPE OF PROJECT* *Summary:* Working under the direction of the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) Integration Team* *Lead, candidates will provide technical development services related to the design, development, testing and on-going maintenance of *Master and Transaction Data*, which is currently being implementing across South Carolina State government. The major components of SAP included are finance, budgeting, materials management, inventory management, sales and distribution, supplier relationship management, human resources and payroll modules. The SAP consultant requested under this SOW develops and maintains *Data Migration* programs based upon system specifications. The position requires analyzing Master and Transaction Data requests, providing work estimates, development of standard solutions, testing and training. This includes migrating data from the Development System through Integration testing and in the Production System at go-live. Must have experience with data loads for the *Sales and Distribution* module, *Finance* Module and *Material Management* module. * * *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* - *5 full life cycle SAP project implementation preferred. * - 5+ years of SAP experience in *Data Migration* - ABAP development and SAP R/3 (version 4.6C or higher) workbench tools - Experience with consolidation of *Customer Master records* - Extensive experience with *LSMW for Master and Transaction Data Loads* *Specific Duties and Responsibilities* - Develop and maintain data load programs based upon specifications - Manage the *Data Migration* tools (*LSMW/e-CATT*) in SAP. - Develop and maintain *Data Migration* standards, procedures and supporting documentation. - Develop tracking documentation for *Data Migration* project to monitor progress during data loads - Coordinate the *Data Migration* loads, updating of support documentation, tracking the progress of the loads - Coordinate the *Data Migration* Loads, updating of support documentation, tracking of the progress of the loads - Provide solid, error free and efficient technical solutions with the minimum of management supervision *Time-frame: *Positions to begin effective on or about 06/18/2009; for approximately 6 months.
