Plus skills are: Business Objects re. 2.0/3.0 (3.0 preferred) Messaging (Tibco Business Events preferred) This is a challenging position to fill because the right person would need to be skilled in several applications and technologies to succeed in this challenging role. The more critical ones are: - Creation of Dashboards, Scorecards, Adhoc querying tools, Enterprise reporting: Using Business Objects X1 Rel 2 or higher - J2EE / .NET with XML, Web Services, preferably in a Weblogic environment - Service Oriented Architetures, Messaging with MQ or TIBCO products, Business Rules Processing, Workflow tools - Databases, Datamarts, ETL - Data Quality techniques like Profiling, Deduping etc. Job Summary · Provide software design, development, unit testing, and documentation as part of the Data Quality Initiative. · Design and build the display and querying mechanisms (Dashboards, Scorecards, Adhoc querying tools) needed to broadcast the data stored in the Data Quality Mart · Design and build DQ Admin, Publisher and other modules that form a critical part of the Data Quality Architecture · Ensure that all delivered software meets business requirements and quality standards · Provide technical leadership and assist in the coordination of effort with other resources. Key Deliverables · Develop fully functional modules that meet all the specifications and have successfully passed all tests including unit, integration, regression and system tests. · Create comprehensive project design documentation · Coordinate with other developers, deliver working code for. · Provide a suite of automated unit tests representing a significant amount of code coverage · Work with testing team and with test management tools (JIRA, etc.) to monitor and resolve software defects. · Create system and user documentation Tasks · Setup automated build, integration, and deployment environments · Setup and maintain source code repositories · Ensure all code is adequately documented, and that all documentation is kept up-to-date. · Assume responsibility for design and coding quality Qualifications - Essential · 5+ years experience · Experience working in a Risk / Finance environment would be a plus. · Expert level skills in configuring and implementing Business intelligence dashboards, scorecards and reports using products from Business Objects X1 Release 2 (and above) family. · Expert level Java programming skills · Experience with J2EE development (JMS, EJB, MDB, etc.) · Experience working with MQ or TIBCO messaging products in a Java environment · Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, database design, and optimization.
