Peoplesoft DBA DC Metro 12 Months All inclusive Database management through maintenance of data dictionaries, data models, performance tuning. Coordinates database changes and tests. This is a Senior PeopleSoft Application and Database Administrator will provide administrative and technical support for PeopleSoft HRMS, Payroll, eModule, Data Conversion and Performance Management. Additional responsibilities include the installation of Oracle and PeopleSoft software, patches, trouble-shooting problems, Performance Tuning, Software Configuration, Capacity Planning, Architecture and Migrations. This individual will support the DC metro's PeopleSoft applications including Application Server, Process Scheduler, Web Server and oracle databases. Candidate must have 10 years of experience implementing and supporting PeopleSoft HRMS, Payroll, Time and labor, eModules, Data Conversion and Performance Management modules. Candidate must possess strong background in Oracle 10g database administration specifically RAC, performance tuning and backup and recovery using RMAN. Candidate must be able to support Ariba Procurement, Seebeyond Integration, Mercury Quality Center and PVCS databases in a high available environment. Prior knowledge of Government systems is desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience with troubleshooting problems; documenting and reporting back after corrective measures have been taken. * * *Behavior Characteristics:* *Good *communication and presentation skills desirable. Independent and self starter in the realm of trouble shooting. *Required Skills* Oracle Database administration on UNIX Oracle Database performance tuning, DB Changes and tests. Oracle Database administration with v10G and RAC on AIX 5L Experience with Peoplesoft 8.8 and Peopletool 8.46 Peopletools upgrade experience to version 9.0 to higher Experience implementing eRecruit / HR PeopleSoft implementations with installation/configuration, on IBM pSeries Capacity planning for PeopleSoft HR/ Payroll system to support 50k users. Must be able to support PeopleSoft application in a HA Architecture. Unix shell scripting to automate maintenance tasks Experience with Ariba, Seebeyond, eBusiness suite in HA architecture Experience with Oracle Data Guard Experience with RMAN Backup and Recovery PeopleSoft Admin and recent implementation on *ver. *8.8 Required and higher.
